2013 Subaru Healthy Sprouts Garden Grant is an award designed to support school and youth educational garden projects that enhance the quality of life for students and their communities. Any non-profit, school, or youth program may apply. Preference will be given towards programs with a focus on environmental education and health and nutrition studies.
50 total programs will be awarded, 47 will receive a $500 package and funding. Three exceptional programs will receive a $1,500 gardening package and funding. Applications are due on November 15th, 2013.
Reporting requirements are essential to the continuation of our grant programs and must be completed within six months of the award date. All winners are required to complete a survey, supply at least 5-10 digital images of the garden program (with parental release forms), and provide an updated program summary.
